Model-specific inspections

Every EV has its own weak points.

A generic scan tool tells you a car has no fault codes. It doesn't tell you that this model year eats rear control arms, that the heat pump fails quietly, or that a particular pack chemistry can't be assessed with the usual method. Pick the car you're looking at.

The same core test, every car

Model knowledge sits on top of the fundamentals.

Battery

Usable capacity, cell spread, cycle and thermal history — read from the BMS, not estimated. How the test works.

High voltage

Isolation resistance, contactors, cabling, cooling loop condition and the battery tray underneath.

Charging

A live AC session and, where there's a charger nearby, DC taper behaviour and port condition under load.

The rest of the car

Structure, suspension, brakes, tyres, electrics and road test. A healthy pack in a damaged car is still a bad buy.

Full detail on the process is in how our inspections work, and what's in each tier is on packages and pricing.
